The UK picture is finally clearer than it was a few weeks ago. The Wegovy pill now has public private-provider pricing, while other oral tablet names still sit in very different categories. Live public prices, introductory offers and future-watch medicines belong in separate sections, so the comparison stays like-for-like.

The useful comparison is the part that can be checked in the UK today: public prices, provider wording and the difference between a current route and a future possibility.

Right now the only new UK weight-loss GLP-1 tablet with a real public private-provider price picture is the Wegovy pill. Rybelsus appears in tablet searches because it is oral semaglutide, but it belongs in diabetes context rather than a weight-loss price comparison. Orforglipron belongs on the watchlist until a UK licence and a public provider route exist.

If a provider does not publish a usable current price, it should not be treated as a priced live row just because the product is real somewhere else.

What is not a live UK price row

Orforglipron, the medicine branded as Foundayo in the United States, is not yet a UK price-comparison medicine. It has no UK licence at the time of writing, so there is no legitimate current UK standard price to list. Any serious UK price-watch page needs to keep that separate.

The same caution applies to pages that lean on watchlists, notify-me forms or international approval headlines. Those can be useful signals, but they are not equivalent to a live UK price row on a provider page.
